Shaun has been in the creative industry for eight years. Prior to his creative career he was attending the University of North Dakota’s Aeronautic program and playing music. After receiving his Private Pilot License, he realized that he was being a lot more intimate with his computer and camera than studying flight charts and manuals. He first started designing tour posters for bands and photographing the concerts that would roll through his hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii. Shaun designed/photographed bands the likes of 30 Seconds to Mars, Kanye West, Incubus, Cindy Lauper, The Fray, Jason Mraz, and A Flock of Seagulls, just to name a few. He soon dropped out of flight school and made the transition to Portland, OR, where he attended the Art Institute of Portland and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design. Half designer, half photographer, full-time creative.
